Spring is finally here 🌸

I’m so ready for days spent outside in the sun so I pulled out all of my pretty dresses and warmer weather items. I’ve decided that I miss wearing light scarves and I’m bringing them back out. Did anyone else live in a scarf years ago? It was my staple and I have so many!

My new sun hat and soft cotton scarf are from @pistildesigns and they are perfect and lovely. I’ll link them in my stories! ☺️

A few weeks ago I got an Advanced MRI scan through @function Health and it’s something I’ve been really curious about for a while!

The @ezrainc scan was only 22 minutes and screened up to 13 organs for 500+ conditions (including certain types of cancer). 22 minutes honestly made it feel so doable as a busy mom. I’m always trying to be proactive with my health (especially after having 4 kids), and this felt like a really aligned way to check in on my body without waiting for something to be wrong.

I also have some family history of cancer, so prevention has always been in the back of my mind. This gave me a lot of peace of mind in a way that felt simple and not overwhelming. It was quick, comfortable, and I loved that there’s no radiation involved.

What I appreciate most is how much more accessible this kind of testing is becoming, Function has really made it feel like something normal people can actually do.

My girls are becoming more active in after school activities and sports so I wanted them to be able to contact me when I’m not around. I also did NOT want them to have any access to the internet and the Bark Watch has no apps, no social media and no browsers and they can’t be added. So if the girls need to call or text me they can - I control the contacts that go into the Bark Watch and can monitor everything on the parent dashboard.

Plus it has 24/7 GPS location tracking which is a great tool since my girls are getting a little more freedom in our small community. They love to play outside with their friends and wander around so a quick text lets them know it’s time to come in!

The girls had a spectacular Wicked party this past weekend, celebrating with family and friends. The life-sized cut outs of Glinda, Elphaba and Oz were such a hit! The beautiful decor was from @orientaltrading as always. They have the best party supplies! #OTCpartner

I always get so excited for our monthly toy rotations with @lovevery Play Kits! This month I set up The Helper Play Kit for Harrison and The Stoyteller Play Kit for Henry.

Doing a toy rotation every month helps keep them engaged and not bored! I also try to minimize the number of toys available because it can be overstimulating when there’s too much. Henry loves this alphabet puzzle and it’s quite challenging with the clear pieces. Harrison loves the drop and match dot catcher! PFAS course the sustainable sink has been a favorite for ALL my kids - sooo fun!
