Fueling Summer With Milk-Based Berry Popsicles

Twins making Hood Whole Milk-based berry popsicles

Are you hanging onto the last few glorious moments of summer? I have the perfect summertime snack for you and your kids to enjoy: milk-based berry popsicles! They are refreshing, easy to make and will fuel the last of your summer fun before Fall arrives!

Disclosure: this post is sponsored by Hood® but opinions are my own.

This summer has been HOT here in the Northeast, especially for this pregnant mama and on-the-go twin toddlers. We’ve all been surviving on swimming, rooms with air conditioning and cold drinks and snacks. Popsicles are always a hit at our house and making them is fun, so we gave it a try!

Typically when I think of popsicles I reach for solely fruit based ones – almost like a frozen smoothie. This time I wanted to try something different and used Hood® Whole Milk in the LightBlock® Bottle as a base; with 8 grams of protein and 9 essential nutrients per serving I knew it was a perfect choice for my growing girls. Did you know that Hood uses a LightBlock Bottle to reduce oxidation from light exposure? The LightBlock Bottle protects their milk so it can stay fresh and tastes delicious from beginning to end (your fridge)! I love that I can count on Hood Milk to be premium and high quality, every time!

Now, when I say these popsicles are super easy to make, I mean it! There are only 6 ingredients and very little chance of messing up this recipe. My girls love helping in the kitchen so we all chipped in and made these together. I love these special little learning opportunities where my toddlers can practice following directions, taking turns and being patient (are they done yet mom?!).

How To Make The Popsicles

Before you start, make sure you have some kind of popsicle mold – it doesn’t have to be fancy. We used a silicone mold that is intended for making baby food and it worked perfectly. Also, don’t forget popsicle sticks! It’s awfully hard to eat a popsicle sans stick (I broke one and speak from experience hah!). Next, you’re going to need 1 cup of Hood Whole Milk whisked with 1 cup of plain greek yogurt (whisking is an easy, but fun toddler task). Set this bowl aside for later.

Now for the fun part! Let your kids add the fruit to the popsicle mold; we used fresh whole raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and sliced strawberries. The girls added whatever they wanted to each mold (I tried to encourage a little bit of each fruit but they kind of did their own things). *Side note* have extra fruit because it was one of those one for me, one for the mold scenarios! After all of the berries are in place, pour the dairy mixture into the mold until each is filled to the top. Add a popsicle stick to each one and that’s it – you’re done!

Place the popsicle mold into the freezer (keep on a level surface to keep your sticks straight). Let your popsicles freeze for at least 6 hours (preferably more) and be prepared to answer the question “are they done yet” a hundred times! That’s it – super easy!

Now go and enjoy those last bits of summer sunshine, have an ice cold popsicle and do something FUN!

A few weeks ago I got an Advanced MRI scan through A few weeks ago I got an Advanced MRI scan through @function Health and it’s something I’ve been really curious about for a while!

The @ezrainc scan was only 22 minutes and screened up to 13 organs for 500+ conditions (including certain types of cancer). 22 minutes honestly made it feel so doable as a busy mom. I’m always trying to be proactive with my health (especially after having 4 kids), and this felt like a really aligned way to check in on my body without waiting for something to be wrong.

I also have some family history of cancer, so prevention has always been in the back of my mind. This gave me a lot of peace of mind in a way that felt simple and not overwhelming. It was quick, comfortable, and I loved that there’s no radiation involved.

What I appreciate most is how much more accessible this kind of testing is becoming, Function has really made it feel like something normal people can actually do.

Function gifted me this scan, and they gave me a $100 credit to share if you’ve been thinking about doing this too - use my code ChristinaM100 or the link in my bio!

I turned our favorite family moments from 2025 into a “Year In Review” Photo Book with @mixbook . From everyday little memories to big milestones, everything is in one place and we can flip through it together (instead of scrolling forever)!

The best part? It was SO easy to make. Their drag-and-drop editor and ready-to-use designer quality templates did most of the work for me! Yay!

Now we have something tangible we can enjoy for years to come. The kids really enjoy looking at our favorite photos. 🫶🏻

My girls are becoming more active in after school activities and sports so I wanted them to be able to contact me when I’m not around. I also did NOT want them to have any access to the internet and the Bark Watch has no apps, no social media and no browsers and they can’t be added. So if the girls need to call or text me they can - I control the contacts that go into the Bark Watch and can monitor everything on the parent dashboard.

Plus it has 24/7 GPS location tracking which is a great tool since my girls are getting a little more freedom in our small community. They love to play outside with their friends and wander around so a quick text lets them know it’s time to come in!

There’s a time and a place for new technology and this is a great first step if you’re a cautious parent like me! Definitely check out the Bark Watch and all of its safety features.

The girls had a spectacular Wicked party this past weekend, celebrating with family and friends. The life-sized cut outs of Glinda, Elphaba and Oz were such a hit! The beautiful decor was from @orientaltrading as always. They have the best party supplies! #OTCpartner

Proud of these two girls is an understatement. This has been a big year for them and they have adjusted so well to a new school. 🫶🏻

Doing a toy rotation every month helps keep them engaged and not bored! I also try to minimize the number of toys available because it can be overstimulating when there’s too much. Henry loves this alphabet puzzle and it’s quite challenging with the clear pieces. Harrison loves the drop and match dot catcher! PFAS course the sustainable sink has been a favorite for ALL my kids - sooo fun!

It’s that time of year when I start deep cleaning It’s that time of year when I start deep cleaning the house and freshening up the rooms…and nothing makes it feel more like a reset than brand new bedding.

We just switched to our new pieces from @linensandhutch and I’m genuinely so impressed. The bamboo sheets are unbelievably soft (but still feel substantial), the duvet is fluffy without being too heavy, and these pillows?! I don’t know what kind of magic is in them but they are SO comfortable.

It instantly made our room feel calm, elevated, and ready for a new season.

#ad These @cadenlane bamboo pajamas are a favorite in our house. They hold up beautifully in the wash, stay incredibly cozy, and the prints are just too cute (this one is called Tiny Touchdowns).

My boys never want to take them off… and honestly, I don’t blame them.
