20 months —> 8 months (same outfit) My little m 20 months —> 8 months (same outfit)

My little man has grown up so much in a year! He’s lost most of his baby chub, I really can’t believe the difference in these two photos.

I’m excited for a fun summer with this wild toddler. He’s adventurous and daring and is going to keep me on my toes. He loves to get wet, dirty, play with bugs, run fast, climb, visit all the neighbors and do all the boy things.

He’s so loving and sweet, gives the best hugs and kisses. He thinks his sisters are THE funniest people and really loves to be included in their playing.

He’s saying so many words, has lots of teeth, signs a bunch of words and is just so smart. And he still eats all the things, puts everything in his mouth which is a phase I am definitely over lol! Like Henry do you really need to taste that mud?! 😂

Back for #TwinningTuesday - with new haircuts! 👯‍♀️

We unplugged for Memorial Day weekend and it was much needed. We spent each day doing things together, working on small projects as a family, spending quality time and connecting.

Life can be so busy and I feel like we’re always rushing around trying to get things done. I wanted to spend some one on one time with each girl this weekend and connect. We did little things together like baking and running errands and took walks around the yard holding hands. I can always tell immediately how much it means to them to have undivided attention. While we might not be able to have one on one time everyday it’s definitely going to be something I try to do once a week, even if just for a few minutes!

How do you carve out time for one on one with your kids?

Did you know that identical twins have nearly identical DNA, but they can have distinct fingerprints? 🧬🔍

It's mind-boggling how such small differences can come from the same genetic blueprint. Identical twins originate from a single fertilized egg that splits into two embryos, resulting in them sharing nearly identical genetic material. After the split, random mutations can occur that can lead to subtle variations in their DNA!

#TwinMoms : are your twins identical or fraternal? What are some of the unique differences between your twins? Share in the comments below! 💕

Charlotte and Isabelle definitely have a few key identifying factors when you look at them - a freckle here and there, slightly different shaped eyes and face, a couple of tiny birthmarks. Of course their personalities are totally different too. 😁 I still get them mixed up sometimes - especially back-to and when they wear their glasses!

I’ve been on the hunt for a comfortable and cute I’ve been on the hunt for a comfortable and cute pair of shorts and I think I’ve found the perfect pair. I love the flowy, natural linen-type fabrics for summer and the shorts I found from @shopreddress are perfect for me. Loose around the thighs but fitted at the waist - love them.

I found some other cute pieces too, a hot pink skirt, soft cotton shirt and the last outfit the colorful piece is actually a bathing suit - so cute! Loved the idea of the rose pink dress but it was a little too much fabric for my frame - it’s my fav color though. 💕

Which outfit do you like the best? I love the second one!

Everything is linked on my LTK (link is in my bio). I would suggest sizing down in everything but the shorts and skirt! 🫶🏻

Happy Mother’s Day ❤️ It was a beautiful we Happy Mother’s Day ❤️

It was a beautiful weekend and I fully took advantage of the holiday. Saturday I took a long drive, sang my heart out to my favorite music, stopped at all my favorite stores, got a coffee, checked into a hotel, ordered my favorite lunch, watched my favorite shows, woke up to the sun and quiet, talked to my mom for an hour and a half and came home to spend time with my family. It was exactly what I needed after a mentally tough week.

I’ve learned to take the time I need to clear my head and decompress so I can be a better mom. Personally, I just need a bit of quiet and time to myself, no one talking to me, no one touching me - which sometimes can be so hard to get. Life is busy and we all have things going on, but I’m extra grateful for being able to make it happen this weekend thanks to my husband. ❤️

My favorite part of Mother’s Day was reading the funny “About My Mom” papers the girls made at school. I love that the teachers do this for us - such a great memory and just so sweet. They also brought home flowers, gave me a picture with their handprints and a poem.

Excited to start this week out with a clear mind, lots of love and a smile. 🙂

POV: you unexpectedly become a SAHM…and wouldn’t change anything about it!

Jesse and I both had good jobs that we enjoyed and then all of a sudden there are two babies coming at once. Identical twins! What a shock to the system…but so exciting to have two rainbow babies coming after a loss!

We packed up our whole life, moved and Jesse started a new job. I worked per diem during pregnancy, waited until the girls were 6 months and went back per diem every weekend and occasional weekday shifts. It wasn’t long until we realized how unfeasible it was for me to keep working like that, taking up any family time on the weekends, commuting and paying for childcare on the weekdays I worked. It definitely wasn’t worth it. To even think about full time work and full time childcare for two babies - I’d literally be making almost no profit. Plus it hurt my soul every time I had to leave them.

So…we made some hard decisions. We cut back everywhere we could. We got rid of my vehicle and became a one car family. It was hard for a while and we are lucky it worked out because it was a huge risk, especially after just buying our first home.

Fast forward to now, we are still a one car family. We have moved an additional time, have one extra baby and Jesse has a different job. We make it all work! I’m so, so thankful we took the risk so that I could stay home with my babies. The fact that I’ve been home for all of these precious moments and just here for them…I know it’s the most important job in the world…and the hardest. Harder than any real world job I’ve ever had. But I honestly am so glad I’m a SAHM. I will never regret it. ❤️

Are you a SAHM? How did you make it work for your family?
